MONA LEO is a 48" x 60" acrylic painting that fuses the faces of Leonardo da Vinci and the Mona Lisa. A rotating device on the back of the canvas allows the image to transform from one face to the other at intervals. This mechanical element reflects Leonardo’s fascination with physical contraptions while reimagining them through a modern lens.
